Clicker Training

Clicker and DogClicker Training is a training method that uses a clicker to make a sudden sharp “click” sound that indicates to a dog that he has done something to earn a food reward. Hidden Potential Beginner Obedience

This is a basic class for dogs over 6 months of age that either missed out on training as a puppy or are ready for their next level of obedience.  Sit, down, default stay, place, loose leash walking, behavior management, and recall.  

Term: 6 weeks, 1 hour-long class per week
Class size:  Limited to 6

Prerequisite:See Socialization Checklist

Required equipment:  Flat buckle collar with a 6 ft leash, treat pouch, and lots of high value treats like hotdogs, chicken breast, cheese.  No e-collars, prong collars, no retractable or slip leads will be permitted in class.

Wednesdays 6:15-7:15PM. 6 Weeks 1/8-2/12

Click to Calm: Transform Your Dog's Reactive Behavior

  • Dogs should wear a harness (front attachment preferred) or head collar (i.e. gentle leader) and a regular 6 ft. leash.

  • Please bring a lot (approx. 2 cups depending on dog size) of pea-sized, HIGH-VALUE treats.

Course Gear:

While specific equipment choices may vary, we recommend having the following for your pup during class:

      Doggie Do Good Beginner Obedience-Clicker Style
