Committed to building strong relationships between her clients and their dogs through the use of LIMA techniques.. Kimberly strongly values current research, education, training and certification in this evolving field, and she continues to add to her own body of knowledge and experience through continuing education. Owner of Hidden Potential Farm and Kennels in Laingsburg, MI she offers daycare, boarding and board and train. When not helping out clients to enjoy easier lives with their canine companions, she enjoys spending time on her farm with her husband and 4 kids and three dogs, mini horses, goats and many other animals.

Dog owners interested in checking out agility can bring their dogs to practice on an agility course without needing to commit to a full course series. Essentially, you can "drop in" anytime to work on agility skills with your dog, with an instructor present to guide and provide feedback on handling techniques. No formal instruction will be given during this time. However, I will provide tips and -tricks for success. Pre-registration is required as well as vet records with proof of rabies vaccine. However, refunds will be available with cancellations or date changes one hour prior to class Saturdays, 12pm-1pm 1/11 to 2/8 Saturday Sign Ups must be made by 5pm on Friday the night before.Mondays, 5pm-6pm 1/13 to 2/10

A sampling of the exciting world of agility will be presented while your dog learns how to perform jumps and tunnels that are mentally and physically challenging. Dogs will learn how to perform the obstacles off both sides of the handler’s body and how to use a high rate of reward to ensure that all learning is fun. Each week new apparatus will be presented along with new course layouts. Dogs must be at least 2 years of age and have a recall with distraction. Term: 6 weeks, 1 hour-long class per week Prerequisite: Completion of Adult Dog Manners. Completion of group classes at other schools is accepted for the prerequisite. Required equipment: Flat buckle collar with a 6 ft leash, treat pouch, and lots of high value treats like hotdogs, chicken breast, cheese. No e-collars, prong collars, no retractable or slip leads will be permitted in class. Saturdays, 11am-12:00pm. Six Weeks: 1/4-2/8 Mondays, 4pm-5:00pm. Six Weeks: 1/6-2/10 ATTENTION: All students must fill out a training survey. Please provide proof of vaccinations on or before the first night of class. Get your new puppy off to the best start with some basic skills and cues such as sit, down, default stay, and loose leash walking. Learn why it is critical to socialize your puppy and the right way to do it. Topics to be discussed will include puppy behaviors, house breaking, coming when called, and crate training. Puppies with age-appropriate vaccines under the age of 6 months are welcome. Kim will walk through the Canine Good Citizen test. This includes advanced loose leash walking, greeting a stranger, walking through a crowd, polite behavior around other dogs, and much more. For dogs of all ages. Prerequisite: Beginner Obedience or equivalent. CGC test given on last night of class.
