• Alex Herrmann has worked at Annabelle's since the summer of 2014, but served as a volunteer dog-walker prior to that. Alex helps with dogs walks for all of our dogs, large and small. His favorite part of working at Annabelle's is being able to spend time with all different breeds, and with the rest of the staff here. Outside of work he enjoys on-line gaming, and has a pet cat named Autumn who is three years old.

  • Sarah, our Assistant Team Leader, came to Annabelle's in February 2014 after moving from Battle Creek to Charlotte. She previously worked as a kennel assistant at an animal shelter as well as a boarding kennel, and worked as a daycare assistant and groomer's assistant. She has had dogs all of her life and currently owns two bully breed mixes. She's an advocate for shelter animals, especially bully breeds, and responsible dog ownership. She hopes to one day work as a shelter director and start a rescue specializing in saving bully breeds on death row.

She has over a decade of experience working with animals at boarding at daycare facilities, animal rescues, veterinary hospitals, and zoos. She also loves training in her spare time and encourages good behavior in our daycare by mixing basic obedience into the daily routine. Megan and her husband Devin live with two furry family members – Athena, a pit bull mix, and Quincy, the cat.

Sarah loves working with all animals, but is especially fond of dogs because they have great personalities. In her free time, Sarah loves to hike and ride horses! Sarah currently lives in East Lansing with her husband, Anthony, her two cats Prim and Autumn and her Pointer/Pitt Bull mix Penny!

After she spends some quality time with dogs in the morning she heads over to Bliss Salon & Spa where she takes people’s style to the next level! She’s grown up with dogs and has a wonderful, people-pleasin’ lab pointer mix named Vegas, a new bully breed named Apollo, and 3 cats! She loves that Vegas can come to work with her at AnnaBelle’s (the cats stay at home, it’s better for everyone that way!).

When she was young, her goal in life was to hug every dog in the world. Working at Annabelle’s is helping her to achieve that goal. Growing up, Katie had a mini Australian Shepherd, and now has a Border Collie named Moes and a cat named Fleur Delapurr.
